Basic categories blocked by AMBdigital's Customized Blacklist include: pornography, gambling, advertisements, audio-video, drugs, violence, spyware, hacking, mail, aggressive, warez and more.

Custom categories include several additional categories in AMBdigital's Customized Blacklist that allow submissions from blacklist subscribers. The custom entries are grouped into four categores (amb-proxy, amb-entertainment, amb-offensive, amb-inappropriate) and can be enabled/disabled through the "amb-category name" in the subscriber's content filter category panel like any basic category.

Subscribers, using their login and password, contribute to the AMBdigital's Customized Blacklist through the online subscriber submittal form. Suggested blacklist additions are checked for duplication, reviewed by AMBdigital and added to the master list when deemed appropriate.
