AMBdigital, LLC (Abe, Mark & Bill) worked on revamping VECMS to run on SME-7.* (SME Server). 
Many additional features have been added to VECMS Version 1.2. 
These include:

• New upload widget that gives the end user more control over file management
• New header widget that allows the end user to add hyperlinked navigation "favorites" to the panel
• More stringent PHP programming techniques to enhance security.
